No need to be scared of pesticide residue in top 15 fruits.
What you need to do is to wash fruits properly with warm water. I may take little time but it will be pure and clean.

Haven't read any comments that look at this issue these ways:
1. Is it better to keep finding ways to produce more and more food, with unnatural methods just so more and more people can be fed lower and lower quality of food? What kind of people will evolve that have only eaten GMO, artificially grown, pesticide covered food?
2. Nobody has mentioned the taste test, I don't think. The organic fruits and vegetables I buy and eat are tastier on average...some are very much tastier than the standard grown types.
3. No, I probably won't die from eating the chemicals that have been sprayed on fruits and veggies, but chemicals are not food. We do know that in concentrated amounts they DO harm people. My sister works at a children's hospital and every week during harvest season, migrant worker's children are brought in with serious problems that have been traced to being in the fields with thier parents and ingesting foods right from the fields before they can be washed during processing before going to market.
4. Even if these chemicals don't cause people to die, there are lots of other "side effects" to the environment because of non-organic farming methods. The most obvious is the large dead zone that is growing in the Gulf of Mexico due to run off of chemicals into the Mississippi River. This dead zone is harmful to marine life in the Gulf. What long term affect will this have on all of us?

water and eating well washed fruits and veggies.
Take a bit longer to wash them, fear is not good.

[...] Genetically modified foods (GMs) are what happens when scientists manipulate cells or even nuclei by inserting genes or viruses to change the DNA. Before GMs farmers would hybridize plants by breeding for preferred character traits. GMs may or may not cause damage to human DNA, but its use has escalated the use of pesticides, herbicides and animal cruelty. Since Monsanto, the makers of the herbicide Roundup(tm) are also the leaders in GM food, it seems that they are lining their own pockets by selling products for both cause and effect. If eating GM foods is something you’d rather not do, I have just come across a useful article that might help. In the April/May, 2011 Vegetarian Times, there is an article by Neal D. Barnard, MD on GM foods. In the article he reveals that manufacturers in the U.S and Canada aren’t required to label GM foods. However he says that most US-grown corn, soy, cotton, Hawaiian papaya and canola is GM, but most other fresh fruit or vegetables aren’t, such as apples, oranges, bananas, broccoli. These, however, are often heavily sprayed with pesticides and need to be washed before eating. (The Environmental Working Group http://www.ewg.org/ updates a Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen list of produce that is effected most or least by pesticides; you can see that list here: http://www.healthyreader.com/2008/05/13/12-most-contaminated-fruits-and-vegetables/ .)
We need to stop the poisoning of our food systems. Knowing is just the first step. Holding those in power responsible for this and making them stop is the next step. Check out this movie to find out how.http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/265778037/?tab=summary
