Odwalla is one of my favorite juice companies. I’ve been drinking their vitamin infused juice and smoothies for the last 15 years. The very first time I drank an Odwalla juice was on a hot and humid summer day on Long Island. My grandpa and I had been all over NYC earlier that day and we were both feeling exhausted and very burned out. During the drive back to his house, we made a pit stop and bought some healthy snacks. He encouraged me to try out an Odawalla Green Superfood Smoothie. I was a bit unsure, because it didn’t look all that appealing. The smoothie was dark green, thick and gooey looking, so it took a big leap of faith to take my first sip of it. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was and was surprised that it tasted more like fruit than the mystery slime-monster taste that I had previously imagined when looking at the bottle back on the store shelf. After finishing off the smoothie, my previous exhaustion from being in the city all day started to melt away and was replaced by a tingly, happy feeling.
I was instantly hooked and in love with Odwalla and have been addicted to those 8 ounce bottles of “feel good juice” ever since that day. I’ve tried most of their flavors and these are some of my favorites”
AntioxiDance- Such a cute name and it will have you doing the “antioxi-dance” because of its tasty cherry, orange, passionfruit blend of juice and energizing, extra boost of Vitamin C.
Original Superfood- Don’t let the dark green color scare you away from this one- it tastes fruity and delicious because it’s full of peach, mango, strawberry and mango purees. The stuff giving it that green color is wheat grass, barley grass, wheat sprouts and spirulina, which provide chlorophyll, micronutrients and trace minerals. All things that your body will thank you for giving it by rewarding you with good health and general feelings of well being and happiness.
Tropical Energy- This one is tropical heaven, with its blend of pineapple, mango, guava and passionfruit juice. It has Vitamin B1 and B2, Yerba Mate, Green Tea and Guarana Seed Extract added for an extra happy energy boost. It’s a great “wake you up morning juice” and I’ve often chosen it over the morning jolt of java.
When I visited Odwalla’s website recently, I was pleased to find out that they’re not only committed to making fresh and delicious juice, but are also a responsible, green company. Here are some things that impressed me about this company:
They do their best to purchase produce that is local, in season and if at all possible- organic.
Use green energy to run their facilities
Eliminate 99% of their bio-waste and save it from going to the landfill by using a high tech anaerobic digestion system.
Gave away 20 free acres of land to one of their peach farmers
Donate money to the Organic Farming Research Foundation, Conservation International and several other smaller organizations that are in the local communities of their 45 distribution centers.
Their products never contain artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or genetically modified organisms (GMO).

Hi, my son has convinced me about the goodness of the green superfood, although I met a woman on a plane a few years ago who was sipping it and gave me a taste and that caught my interest….and today I saw the truck with the website so here I am
!……my concern is the large amount of SUGAR in the drinks! Why so much or is it naturally occurring in the fruit and veg?
Thanks,
Barbara

I use Odwalla in my smoothies, but was unable to decipher how much fiber was in it. It is important to figure out my points for WW. Can you supply me with this info? Thanks.

I began drinking Odwalla about 2 weeks ago and have felt great since. I just decided to try it and while yes, the superfood one was scary to see I knew it had spirulina in it and so that was the main reason for the purchase (I have the powder form I put in my tea) and that is my favorite one. I have not had one that I have not liked and I find that the daily intake of the drink helps give me the nutrients that I do not get regualarly in my meals. I actually drink it with certain meals because of that. It is a great product!!
