Luna Bars: Whole Nutrition For Women

I recently fell in love with Luna Bars. They’re the first nutrition bar for women that actually tastes good, more like a candy bar than something that’s good for you. I actually felt a bit guilty and concerned when I bit into my first one and had to read the label again just to make sure that it didn’t have any bad stuff in it.
I was pleased to discover that each Luna Bar is 70% USDA certified organic, contains a large portion of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of the nutrients that women need, including Calcium, Soy Protein, Omega 3’s, B-vitamins, iron, antioxidants, 23 vitamins and minerals. Luna Bars are sweetened with only natural sweeteners like organic brown rice syrup and organic evaporated cane juice, not highly processed sweeteners that are bad for your health, like corn syrup. They also are only 190 calories or less, contain no trans fats and come in many delicious flavors!
So far, I’ve tried only a few of the flavors- S’mores, Chocolate Raspberry and Nutz Over Chocolate. I can’t really pick a favorite, because they all tasted amazing and gave me a nice energy boost. I don’t know about you, but I’m really picky when it comes to chocolate and only like the best, so was extra impressed when I tasted the high quality chocolate that they used for these flavors!
A portion of the profits from Luna Bar sales is donated to the Breast Cancer Fund (BCF), a non profit group that advocates for the elimination of environmental causes of breast cancer. LUNA also hosts an annual national womens film festival called LUNAFEST .

Those sound good. I’ll have to check them out. I have hypothyroidism, which I haven’t been able to have treated by a doctor in years. Doing some research, I’ve found information on vitamins and minerals that are supposed to help, and this appears to have many of those suggested. Thanks!
