KINDYesterday, I arrived at the grocery store feeling tired and burned out from running errands all day. My first instinct was to go to the store’s cafe and order some coffee to help me get through the task of grocery shopping. But, I changed my mind when I walked past a display of healthy snack bars.

The KIND bars caught my eye. I chose the Fruit & Nuts In Yogurt one and was quite impressed by how delicious it was- sweet, a bit salty with a nice nutty crunch. A few minutes after eating it, I felt recharged and full of natural energy.

Kind bars are chock full of good stuff- whole premium almonds, Brazilian nuts, walnuts, peanuts, and chunks of unsulphured dried fruits held together with honey. They also are low in sodium, cholesterol free, non GMO, trans fat free, have a low GI (Glycemic Index) value and a minimum of 5% of all profits go to the PeaceWorks Foundation’s One Voice movement, which helps to create peace in the Middle East.

“Healthy snacking helps prevent costly and potentially disabling diseases. Fruits and nuts lower the risk of heart disease, cancer and high blood pressure.”

Health Magazine awarded KIND as “the best healthy snack”. KIND was also an NASFT “outstanding snack” finalist and has been praised by several magazines and newspapers.
