This morning, while opening up a new container of Stonyfield Organic Yogurt, I discovered an advertisement on the inner lid, for a film called Food Inc. My interest was immediately piqued when I read the words,”You’ll never look at dinner the same way.” So, I went online and watched the trailer and afterwards, watched an interview with the director- Robert Kenner and Michael Pollan, award-winning journalist and world-renown food expert.
It appears that Food Inc. shines the light of truth pretty strongly on the warped insanity of the American food industry. This is a must see film whose time has come. Every day, we are poisoned by our food supply and I’m not just talking about E.coli scares…it goes way deeper than that. This 90 minute film can only scrape the surface of a multi layered, problematic industry. Hopefully this will be enough to anger and motivate the American public into action. We have been lied to and it’s time to wake up and stop buying into all of the propaganda the food industry has shoved down our throats.
