If you ask, many adults would tell you that kids cereals are very bad for their health. Why? Mostly because they are so sugary. Well, something is finally being done about that.
General Mills plans to further cut the amount of sugar in its cereals that it markets to children under 12. The company will reduce the sugar content in 10 of its products to less than 11 grams.
The move is part of a response to complaints from consumers, health groups and federal regulators about the nutritional content of foods aimed at U.S. children.
