The latest new tool to help doctors comes in the form of a new stethoscope. The 3M Littman Electronic Stethoscope will help doctors to better diagnose various health conditions thanks to some new features, which include noise cancellation and sound augmenting, so they can hear better. Yes, it’s been awhile, but finally the stethoscope has improved.
The device can also record heart and lung sounds and file them so that they can be checked later by software to understand any beating patterns and irregularities and identify a problem. The device costs $379 and should prove invaluable for the health industry.
