AromatherapyAromatherapy, or essential oils therapy, is when you use a plant’s aroma-producing oils to treat disease. Essential oils come from a plant’s flowers, leaves, stalks, etc. The oils are mixed with oil, alcohol, or lotion and then put on the skin, sprayed in the air, or inhaled. It has many benefits and can work quite well. And it is natural.

It is believed that the fragrances in the oils stimulate nerves in the nose. Those nerves send impulses to the areas of the brain that control memory and emotion. The result may be calming or stimulating depending on which oil is used.

There isn’t much scientific evidence to support claims that it works, but I’ve known several people who have benefited from it myself. It’s worth looking into if you want a more natural way to treat yourself without using harsh chemicals and drugs. Hit the link and check out more details.
