Beer May Be Good For You

Sure, they talk about red wine being a cardiovascular aid, but most people don’t think of beer as having any health benefits. But there are many years of research that shows that beer and all alcohol may have similar heart benefits.
Beer has antioxidants. Ales contain the most. Some studies suggest that beer delivers more antioxidants to the U.S. diet than wine. Research has also found that both dark beer and lagers help protect the arteries from building up plaque.
There are other good reasons to have a beer as well, but the key is always moderation.
