Dark Chocolate May Lower Stroke Risk
Related: dark chocolate, Risk, Stroke
I hope you had some dark chocolate this Valentine’s day. Dark chocolate appears to lower your risk of stroke or lessen the likelihood of death after a stroke. The findings, based on a review of existing research, aren’t conclusive though, and they don’t prove that chocolate is good for your heart.
But still, two of the three studies analyzed suggest that health benefits can be found in chocolate. Especially dark chocolate.
It’s an interesting read, although I have say I hate dark chocolate. Why couldn’t it be milk chocolate? Why can’t it be all chocolates? Then health would be very easy. And tasty.
