I found something interesting over at Health.com today. Healthier chicken. Just BARE Chicken will cost you about $2 per pound for whole chicken; $3 for a package of drumsticks or $6 for a package of boneless, skinless breast fillets, breast tenders, and thighs. You can find it at SuperTarget and other grocery stores. But if you are having trouble finding it, visit www.justbarechicken.com for store locations near you.
Just BARE Chicken uses family farms that raise cage-free, happier chickens. This is important for many reasons, one being that stressed-out chickens have high cholesterol. The chickens have an all-natural vegetarian diet, which is a plus. You avoid nasty mad cow type diseases this way. There are no antibiotics, no hormones, no animal byproducts, and no deadly chemicals.
It’s simply another option for eating healthier. I’m glad to see more farms cleaning up their act, which keeps us all the healthier when consuming meat. If you try Just BARE before we do, let us know what you think.

This is the only kind of chicken I buy. It doesn’t get any better.
