Surgeon Mistakenly Removes Man’s Testicle
This is not something that men want to ever hear, but a man who had a procedure to remove a cyst lost an entire testicle when the surgeon cut it out by accident. Bad enough they have no bedside manner and put you in debt for the rest of your life, they even take the occasional body part.
Dr. Sulieman Al Hourani is accused of misconduct after he removed the patient’s entire right testicle during a September 2007 operation at Fairfield General Hospital in England, according to BBC News.
Al Hourani, who is now practicing medicine in Jordan and did not attend a hearing held by Britain’s General Medical Council, was only supposed to cut out a cyst. He made the mistake when his nurse turned her back for a few minutes to prepare stitches.
