Wooden Toilet Seats Can Cause Children’s Rash
Harsh cleaning chemicals and wooden toilet seats may be why U.S. cases of toilet seat-related skin irritations among children appear to be increasing, according to researchers. Especially the ones with varnishes and paints.
Children can develop rashes after repeated exposure to residue from cleaning chemicals or after several uses of a wooden seat. If your child is experiencing problems, it may be best to switch that wood seat with a new one that isn’t wood.
